Yaboganskyi Pass

The name of pass comes from the Altai "Yabagan" – “pressed”. The Pass connects the road from Ust-Kan to Chuya highway, it’s a watershed of the river Yabogan and the Elo and located on Seminskyi ridge. The height of pass is 1492 meters.

The length of descent is 3 km. The climb is gradual, descent is also smooth, but further two and a half kilometers turns to serpentine. Throughout Yabogansky ridge is covered with larch forests. Yaboganskiy Pass is well arranged asphalt road, safety and beautiful way without sharp turns. Dangerous area with adjoining roads and bridges was reconstructed, the pass became significantly straight and covered constructed with 3 exits for emergence breaking speed by lifting and sandy buffers. <\p>
