Muzdy-Bulak

The Muzdy-Bulak River, a left tributary of the river Kalguta flows from lake Muzdy-Bulak. Name is translated as “ice flow”. Muzdy-Bulak is the name of Altai mountain range. The top of Muzdy-Bulak reaches 3050 meters. It is located in the mountain border between Russia and Kazakhstan, in the west of Ukok plateau of the Republic of Altai. On the slopes of the range are the sources of the Kara-Bulaly Tyus River and the Bukhtarma River. On the northern slope of Mount Muzdy-Bulak are a few mountain lakes located.
